This role would be ideal for someone who would like to gain more experience in the cancer or informatics field.

Multi Disciplinary Teams have evolved over the last few years with the remit to discuss and plan care for all patients with a diagnosis of known or suspected cancer. You will be expected to lead a team to prepare, organise and support MDT meetings to ensure patient pathways are progressed. This includes preparing, producing and disseminating lists of patients for discussion and capturing accurate data during the MDT, live typing within the MDT to support the process.

You will play an important part in tracking the patient journey from the point of suspicion or diagnosis of cancer to treatment and be responsible for ensuring the required datasets are collated, accurately entered and monitored effectively to comply with local and national expectations and standards in terms of the Cancer Outcomes & Services Dataset Cancer Waiting Times, Chemotherapy and National Audit data
