**Description**

We are seeking a full time PA/Carer for our 9 year old son who has severe learning disabilities, non-verbal and related complex needs in the Twickenham area.

You will provide a safe, nurturing environment ensuring the best possible care and support for our son following the principles of safeguarding and child protection. You must be caring, kind, and calm as the child may use alternative methods of communication.
- Support him through play therapy and other activities he enjoys (walks, swings etc)
- Support his mobility, some lifting up to 25kg will be required
- Support with his daily routine (i.e. dressing, bathing, nappy changes etc)
- Peg feeding experience is desired but not required as training can be provided
- Cleaning, ironing and other household chores to support him
- He may exhibit some challenging behaviour and you must be patient and learn how to manage this.
- You may also be asked to watch our two other children aged 7 and 9 years old.
- Some training will be required which will be paid for by employer
- Must pass DBS which will be paid for by employer

**Hours**
- 10-15 hours per week
- Currently Thursday from 3pm-8pm and Saturday 10am-8pm.
- You must be flexible with your hours when necessary

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 15 per week
