Operating worldwide, the company is the world’s leading provider of submarine rescue capability and an established provider of submarine escape training. The company is at the forefront of Hyperbaric Rescue, along with being the leading supplier of commercial and defence diving equipment and saturation diving systems to the commercial industry.
About the role:
Your key responsibilities will also include:
- Assist in the definition and setup of new projects and services in the ERP environment
- Review of subsequent ERP work order demands and ensure timely processing response in the system
- Ownership of all work orders and work order demands related to projects and services, project workshop and on-site project activity
- Collate and issue manufacturing documentation to support work order packages
- Ensure all engineering changes /variations are captured in the system, the production impact evaluated and propose actions to mitigate impact as necessary
- Alignment of production work order dates with project schedules
- Prepare regular reports highlighting issues and areas of concern
- Other relevant duties/tasks assigned by the Head of Project Control
What do you need?
- ERP work order management experience required
- Experience of stores activities and material control desirable
- Project planning / scheduling experience an advantage
- Confident Microsoft Excel user
- Technical or engineering background or experience of working within an engineer to order environment desirable
The Person:
You will be a natural problem solver and a strong communicator & effective team player.
The ability to prioritise tasks and manage time to achieve deadlines along with the willingness to engage and motivate others.
This role will be based on site at Inchinnan, therefore you will need to live within a commutable distance.
You will also need to be able to pass security clearance, therefore be a UK resident with checkable UK work history.
