**Role Description**:

We’re seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the MRF Standard Governance and database Strategy Lead. In this critical role, you’ll play a pivotal part in safeguarding Bank of America’s digital assets and ensuring a secure environment for our employees and customers.

**Responsibilities**:
**Championing Security Excellence**:

- You will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of our monitoring, response, and forensics standards.
- You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to these standards across GIS

**Database Strategy and Optimisation**:

- You’ll identify opportunities for efficiency, scalability, and innovation within our database infrastructure.

**Effective Communication**
- You can articulate complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- You’ll engage with stakeholders at all levels, including executive management, to advocate for key security controls.

**What we are looking for**:

- You thrive in a collaborative environment, working seamlessly with technical and non-technical colleagues.
- Your ability to convey ideas effectively, both in writing and verbally is exceptional.
- Technical skills required include but not limited to: Information Security Controls, Enterprise Risk Management, Application and Database Security, Splunk and/or other logging technologies

**Your experience**
- Proven experience of IT or Cybersecurity (preferred)
- You can lead governance routines and collaborate across large organisations.
- You can work both independently as well as part of a team.
- You can plan, execute, and document assessment activities following established processes and procedures.
