The Training Management Group (TMG) is the construct to enable collaborative working between the Authority and the Selborne Contractor and the day-to-day management of the training service. It provides a forum for decision making and the mechanism to agree change, tasks and service improvements.

The post holder will work as part of this team supporting delivery of the Selborne contract. Working within the TMG Business Support Team, they will Line Manage 2 AO posts in order to provide costing and financial data as well as HR and Management Information to support the CMDT TMG in their decision making and management of the Civilian HR Processes

This position is advertised at 37 hours per week

**Job description**:
The post holder will support the TMG Cost Analyst and will be responsible for overseeing production of costing data relating to the Selborne Training Contract and other TMG spend, producing cost data to assist the NC finance team in producing accurate forecasts for the TMG. Manage CP&F Requisitions for the Selborne Training Contract on behalf of the TMG Business Support and Commercial Teams. Production of HR Management Information and Dashboard Reports relating to TMG civilian personnel.

The post holder will also have Line Management responsibility for 2 AO/E1 positions

**Person specification**:
Line management responsibility for 2 AO posts.

Reviewing invoiced costs against contract activity to ensure forecast/spend is accurately reported, review Quarterly statements in preparation for agreement with Contractor, Completion of financial returns for efficiencies/benefits/Contingent Liabilities/OFCs. Supporting contract reviews

Produce management information and dashboard reports for TMG CS TORs, PARs, Scheme of Complement and Training records. Manage timelines for achievement recognition (in-yr awards/Thank you scheme) to ensure LMs do not miss opportunities to reward high performance. Support Transition HR activity

Manage CP&F requisitions to ensure timely input and approval by NC Finance Team.

Facilitate organisation and planning for TMG Audits and Reviews
