**About the role**:
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Recruitment Assistant to join our team. This role is key to providing an outstanding recruitment service to our internal customers and will involve the administration and support of all aspects of the recruitment and selection cycle from placing adverts to onboarding new starters.

This interesting and varied role will include:

- Placing job advertisements using job sites, social media and advertising internally
- Arranging and coordinating interviews
- Completing pre-employment checks for new staff including processing DBS and reference checks
- Maintaining new employees’ files with all necessary documents and checks
- Maintaining recruitment records such as the HR information system and recruitment spreadsheets

**About you**:
Applicants should have previous experience in an administrative role, ideally in recruitment or HR but this is not essential.

The key qualities we are looking for are:

- Good organisation and ability to plan your workload according to changing priorities
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, and the confidence to speak professionally with people at all levels
- Outstanding attention to detail in everything you do
- Strong IT skills, particularly in the Microsoft office package
- A confident user of social media and able to use this effectively to attract talent
- Able to work on own initiative and collaborate well with others
- Ideally qualified in Level 3 Business Administration
- Knowledge of Education and/or Social Care processes
