**Project Manager**

£60,000 to £65,000 + Benefits and Hybrid working after initial familiarisation.

My Client provides product certification marks and certificates as a third-party endorsement body and is a globally renowned organisation. **The Role
**Main Duties and Responsibilities**:

- For each project identify key stakeholders, project sponsors and a steering board that represents the business’s decision makers.
- Creation, management and submission of project plans in accordance with programme governance requirements and proactively monitoring progress, resolving issues and initiating appropriate corrective action.
- Plan resources for each project and ensure project members are aware of their roles and responsibilities. Management of project RAIDs and appropriate mitigation / resolution.
- Reporting the progress of the project at regular intervals to the Head of Projects and Steering Boards.
- Ensuring the delivery of new products or services from projects to the appropriate level of quality, on time and within budget, in accordance with the project plan and programme governance arrangements.
- Ensuring formal communication strategy is in place and there is appropriate engagement with stakeholders.
- Working with the Head of Projects to identify any gaps in the project/programme or any issues that have been identified.
- Controlling change management process within projects.
- Carry out capacity planning taking account of project links and overlaps and ensuring resources are available at the right time to deliver the project.
- Plan and agree the budget for each project with the steering board.

**About You
You will possess:

- Practical experience in planning and managing large projects from commencement through to full completion, (including budgeting, resource management, and delivery).
- Experience delivering a broad variety of projects, which include software development and automation, new service development, facility expansion, business system or structure transformation.
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise workload based on business requirements.
- A good understanding of practical financial issues and commercial fundamentals which contribute to the customer experience and contribute to the profitability of the business.
- Comfortable with the use of information technology, with strong Microsoft Office skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- The ability to handle confrontation with appropriate grace, professionalism, and firmness to manage/resolve disputes appropriately.
