**Location**: Birmingham

**Contract**: Permanent, full time

**Responsibilities**

As Highways Maintenance Operative you’ll be working within the maintenance team, supporting them during the summer months weed spraying along the hard standing surfaces of the Birmingham network with a daily target of 20,000 per m2.

Your day to day will include:

- Weed spraying during summer months
- Working with tools and machinery
- Planting trees during winter months as part of our re-planting programme with targets determined on the number of trees to plant in total

**Who are we looking for?**

This role of Highways Maintenance Operative is great for you if you can:

- Demonstrate good knowledge of site / public health and safety
- Show qualifications around PA1 & PA6 spraying
- Provide a full driving licence
