My client LCCC are currently recruiting for a Senior Learning and Development Manager.

LCCC are a fantastic business to be apart of as their aim is to support making decarbonisation happen across the UK and they are looking for someone who is passionate about this to join their L&D Team. Reporting to the Director of People and OrganisationalDevelopment. You will manage all internal training and development initiatives, encouraging a learning culture across the organisation in order to build a high performance workforce at all levels.

This role is a 12 month fixed term contract.

Key responsibilities:
**Learning & Development**
- Work with the Director of People and OD to design and implement the LCCC learning & development plan ensuring it meets employee needs and delivers on business strategy
- Ensure effective management of training and career development to enable people to grow and progress, and align this to performance management as required
- Manage the implementation and launch of the LMS, working closely with the external provider, the People Team and internal stakeholders.
- Undertake learning needs assessment to ensure all training and development activity is captured across the organisation and recommend effective solutions based upon your findings
- Develop L&D metrics and evaluation process to measure the effectiveness of learning and training initiatives across the business
- Manage the company training budget
- Work with internal comms to communicate L&D initiatives using diverse and interesting mediums
- Work with the Director of People & OD and Heads of Teams to implement development plans for key talent within the business linking to the overall LCCC succession planning initiatives
- Work with the Talent Acquisition Manager to develop and deliver the LCCC Apprentice and Graduate Scheme
- Manage the procurement of the L&D service provision ensuring value for money for LCCC.
- Manage external L&D suppliers as appropriate including robust performance management measures to deliver a cost-effective service
- Work closely with our People Business Partners, support the business with progressing its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion agenda, and facilitate the focus on wellness and mindfulness.
- Take ownership of designing, developing, and embedding effective core skills that are transferable and can be further developed alongside organisation growth
- Embed a leadership management development programme focused for first and second level line management

**People management**

This role will line manager the L&D Coordinator

Skills/Experience Required for the Role:
**Essential**:

- Min 5 years’ experience in L&D management
- Involvement in developing Leadership programs
- Experience of implementing and launching an LMS
- Track-record of delivering/implementing an L&D strategy and plans
- Able to analyse talent requirements and align these to business objectives
- Track record in delivering significant cultural change programmes with integrated learning and development
- Highly developed business acumen and strategic capability
- Experience of employee engagement activities from a learning & development perspective of activities to the onward management of specific programmes
- A pragmatic and flexible style, able to influence and build effective relationships
- Comfortable dealing with change and ambiguity
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Able to influence and build productive relationships with stakeholders and external suppliers

**Desirable**:

- L&D/Psychology qualification or equivalent
- CIPD qualification desirable
- Experience in diversity & inclusion
