WCG currently employs over 1300 staff and our Recruitment Team are responsible for managing all aspects of staff recruitment for the Group, across all our Colleges.

Recruitment at WCG is fast paced and needs someone who can provide professional Recruitment support throughout our process with our managers. You will work closely with the Recruitment Manager, supporting with the shortlisting and interview process across the College. The role is busy, varied, and demands very high standards and attention to detail in terms of the service provided to our customers with a proactive approach and a desire to deliver excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is highly organised, proactive and has excellent administrative skills. You will need superb customer service skills, and be someone who can communicate effectively and provide support, guidance and advice to our customers. Strong organisational skills are needed to structure your own day and meet targets as you will be building close relationships with managers and staff.

The Recruitment Team sits with our HR department. The wider HR function includes a generalist HR team, Learning & Development, Payroll, Health & Safety and Recruitment. The function supports WCG across all College sites and the Resourcing Assistant will be based in Leamington Spa.

**Duties and Responsibilities**

Some of the key duties for this role are listed below:

- Complete shortlisting packs and documents in line with WCG’s policies
- Advise managers on recruitment and selection
- Arrange interviews and send documentation to panel members
- Sending interview invites
- Providing pro-active vacancy support by monitoring time to fill on vacancies and support recruitment methods to reduce the time taken to fill our vacancies.
- Support the administration within recruitment
- Manage own and departmental incoming calls and inbox on a daily basis, responding to enquiries in a timely manner.
- Maintaining personal files and departmental archiving

**In order to support during busy exam periods, you may be asked to undertake exam invigilator duties. The College will provide training.**

**Annual Leave**

The College offers a generous annual leave entitlement to support staff, commencing with 25 days rising to 28 days after 5 years’ service, plus 8 statutory days (Public & bank Holidays) and College closure days (all pro rata for part time posts).

**Hours of Work**

The post holder will be expected to work such hours as are necessary for the proper performance of their duties and responsibilities, normally 37 hours per week.

**Physical Make-up**

**Essential Attainments**
- The ability to demonstrate good literacy and numeracy skills
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines on an ongoing basis.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to demonstrate high attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate, typed documents (job descriptions and adverts etc.
