Join our Security team and experience bringing intelligent technology and advanced threat expertise to organisations that form the UK's Critical National Infrastructure, this specialist team helps to simplify their day-to-day cyber security operations, enabling their own people to focus on their bigger strategic priorities.

What you'll do

Responsible for the architecture, strategy, planning & design of a Core and Access DWDM network.
- Transmission owner for Core and Access DWDM network, incorporating product management, strategy and upgrade roadmaps for future growth/functionality
- Network design, including feasibility of network build, availability calculations, High
- and Low-level design documents.
- Creating type approval test plans, witnessing testing and creating test reports/network planning guides
- Pre-sales documentation and bid-stage equipment costing, which will require working with customers and suppliers.
- 3rd line support element, which will involve assistance and advice on complex faults / project issues

Who you are
- Detailed understanding of DWDM solution design incorporating; capturing customer requirements, optimisation, cost calculation/savings, high
- and low-level design documentation for pre/post sales
- Promote and develop good working relations with other Departments, external agencies and Contractors.
- Detailed knowledge of:

- DWDM/OTN principles
- Multiservice/Reconfigurable Switching
- Optical Switching
- Transmission Network Management Systems (NMS)
- Legacy SDH/PDH Networks

**Security Clearance**: This position requires the eligibility and ability to obtain and hold UK Developed Vetting (DV) clearance.
