We are currently looking for an experiences Sales Representative to join our clients established team within the commercial furniture sector.

You will be required to travel within the role throughout the north east (predominately Teesside but not exclusively company car provided)

**About the role**

The post will be based at the Company’s factory and offices in Hartlepool, but there is a requirement for quite significant face-to-face time out of the office with customers and prospects for which a fully expensed (though private use and home to work travel will be at the post holder’s expense in relation to fuel costs) company car will be provided.

The post is permanent and the Company is a member of the Government’s pension arrangements for those employees who contract in. There will be a performance review at the end of the third and sixth months.

**Role Requirements**:

- You will spend your first 2 months in this role partly shadowing our key account Manager, including meeting clients and contacts.
- Learn the current product range and methods of designing and costing, and quoting.
- Engage with and support the CRM design, development and integration as it comes on-line.
- Assist with the development of a full sales procedure from cradle to grave and the associated comprehensive reporting structure which gives total enquiries, quotes, orders, failure/success rates.
- Be a participant in the Company’s sales target and incentive scheme.
- Work closely with the Technical Design and Sales Support function.
- Give support and input to the development of a sales marketing plan designed to increase sales enquiries and prospect to customer conversion rates.
- Assist in researching competitors such as Aspen; Elite and like firms. In the light of the findings work with Design and Manufacturing colleagues to introduce our branded range including Hotel Furniture, Washrooms, Office Furniture and the like targeted for online click and despatch.
- Previous experience within the commercial furniture sector desirable.

**Further Information**:

- Starting Salary £30,000pa, paid monthly in arrears
- 3 month review and if satisfactory and the sales target has been met then base salary will be increased to £32,500.
- 6 month review and if initial targets (to be determined and agreed from above) are further met, then increased to £35,000pa, also paid monthly in arrears
- Participation in the Company’s sales incentive scheme on terms which are not capped and are _designed to enable_ additional annual earnings of min £7,000 to £15.000 in the first x12 months in post

The above equates to first year earnings of circa £50,000 plus benefits which include:
