**An opportunity has arisen within the East of England Neonatal Operational Delivery Network for a Care Coordinator to join our team and this is open to both Nursing and Allied Health Professionals.**
**You will assist the ODN in supporting neonatal units across the region it serves to develop and implement family centred and integrated care initiatives, meeting the aims and key deliverables of the National Neonatal Critical Care Review (NCCR) 2019, the NHS Long Term Plan (2019) neonatal commitments and Three Year Delivery Plan (2023). **This will be done by coordinating and linking with key staff to support their local work, fostering a culture where family-integrated care is embedded in everyday practice so that parents and families are at the heart of and fully involved in their baby’s care, empowering parents to be partners in the care team.**
**It will include assisting with the improvement of the accommodation, facilities and support available to parents and families during their baby’s inpatient episodes, maximising the use of available funding for these purposes. This will help to standardise neonatal services across the Network as well as helping support parents in preparation of transfer and the transition to home, neonatal outreach and/or paediatric services.**

Main duties of the job
