Vacancy Description

A Parking Officer vacancy has arisen in our busy Parking Office based in the Market Street offices, Newbury. The role is integral in providing a high-quality parking service throughout West Berkshire.

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic person who is able to work on their own initiative but also able to work within a team.

Reporting to the Senior Parking Officer, you will be responsible for the processing of Penalty Charge Notices, resident permit scheme, season tickets and parking suspensions. You will also support the administration of the Blue Badge and Concessionary Fares scheme.

Having a knowledge of parking or blue badge legislation is advantageous, although not essential as full training will be given.
