The post holder will provide a modern, efficient and reliable administrative support function to the Chief of Service, Deputy Operational Director and Senior Divisional Matron of the Surgical Specialties sub-division.

- Provide administrative support to the Surgical Specialty Triumvirate and Leadership team, including arranging meetings including room bookings and taking minutes as requested
- Organising meetings which involves: - Booking rooms
- Produce and circulating agendas
- Taking minutes and disseminate to relevant parties both within the NNUH Trust and relevant organisations
- Produce letters, documents and reports in a format suitable for professional and public use on behalf of the Surgical Specialty Triumvirate as and when required.
- To attend human resource investigations, taking minutes and audio transcribing statement
- Utilise information supplied from others to design, create, produce and distribute monthly updates/reports
- Utilise advanced skills in Microsoft Office and other software design packages gained through specific training courses, for production of minutes, documents, PowerPoint presentations, reports, information leaflets and newsletters
- To manage daily workload according to protocols and department needs
