Elevation Recruitment Group delighted to be the exclusive recruitment partner to a Rotherham based national construction business as they look to recruit a part-time Financial Accountant.
Reporting to the CFO, you will need to be fully qualified, and will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller and CFO to continue to improve and drive the financial agenda within the business.
Responsibilities will include:

- Assist with the production of monthly management accounts and statutory accounts completion
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Statutory reporting - PAYE/CIS/VAT
- Monitor VAT controls within the Group
- Assist with budget and forecasts
- Monthly analysis to support management information, Creditor/Debtor/WIP reporting
- Take lead role of tax affairs including R&D claims, working with external accounting firm
- Take lead role on system development / training and internal system controls
- Business partner with Payroll / HR team
- Annual insurance renewal
- Assist CFO with any future project work / business refinance
- Provide cover and support across the finance function
Key skills / qualifications:

- Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA
- Strong technical accounting skills
- Experience of system and process improvement
