**The Opportunity:
The post-holder will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, primarily working in the Glasgow-based research facility of the Anne Rowling Regenerative Neurology Clinic. The post-holder will work under senior research nurses and will have an essential role working with the wider team to recruit to and assist in the running of Anne Rowling Clinic research studies, particularly the 440-person Scotland-wide FutureMS longitudinal observational cohort study.

The post-holder will disseminate clear information about studies to people with neurological conditions and other stakeholders and encourage participation for maximum case ascertainment and retention throughout the projects.

The post-holder will be based in Glasgow following training in Edinburgh on collecting patient information, carrying out study specific procedures and taking blood samples from people with multiple sclerosis.

**Your skills and attributes for success**:

- Previous care or nursing experience
- Previous research experience, especially if this is relevant clinical research Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate appropriately, and with discretion, with patients, carers, healthy volunteers and colleagues
