Action Pumps traces its roots back to the formation of Action Pumping Services Ltd in 1983. Our manufacturing division was formed in 1987, under the trading name of Cumulus Pump Sets, to develop packaged pump set business opportunities.

We are now a nationwide, specialist provider of professional and tailored solutions that meet and look after all pumping requirements - from supplying and/or installing a complete range of pumps and pumping systems, to offering a variety of service and maintenance packages plus spare parts and accessories.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Service Estimator position, this can be based at our **Dartford or Waterlooville** office. Pumps or Mechanical experience is essential.

**Job Purpose**

To provide quotations to existing and new clients for remedial works, in a quick and efficient manner. The person will support the department with a range of activities, including taking incoming calls, managing any breakdowns, dealing with customer enquiries and raising invoices. The person will work closely with the engineers providing any relevant information that is required to assist the engineers with their works. This is an internal office based role and does not require you to visit customers or sites.

**Role **and Responsibilities**
- Cost out enquiries/projects for both engineers and direct customers, providing quotations using our in-house software.
- Receive orders and refer them to order processing with all the relevant information.
- Raise orders on our systems when necessary to support the Department.
- Take breakdown calls, noting all relevant information and working with engineers ensuring that clients are supported whilst breakdown call outs are raised.
- Other general duties will include answering inbound phone calls, filing and providing cover for other members of the Service Team.
- Any other duties reasonably requested by any members of the Management team.

**Preferred Skills/Experience**
- Mechanical experience is essential

Experience with CRM systems
- Understanding of pumps and associated equipment would be desirable.
- Have an understanding of quoting works pertaining timings etc. on remedial works.
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Team player who will work to the benefit of the Department increasing turnover and growing the Service Division as a whole.
- A “can do” attitude and “hands on” approach.
- Organised with high attention to detail.

**Hours & Holiday**
- Monday - Friday 8am
- 17:00hrs
- 25 days holiday + bank holidays
