Social Listening Lead- Strategy

Experience managing people

- The ability to coherently explain complicated data or analytical processes to people who may not have a good understanding
- A knowledge of the marketing environment, social media and wider culturally-relevant issues
- Skill with data and numbers - experience with datasets, and drawing insight from them
- An understanding of the digital media landscape, emerging trends, software and platforms
- High level of organisation and time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and respond to urgent requests
The role involves:
- Running the paid projects social insights team, leading on client comms
- Reporting directly to the Chief strategy officer
- Managing 2 direct reports and working alongside the new business insights team to balance capacity and needs across the wider strategy and insights team of 8
- Quality control of client-facing documents
- Innovation and keeping our AI-powered insights ahead of the pack
- Overseeing complex client projects, using third-party and proprietary analytics tools to generate insight, analysing large, complex and often unstructured datasets to generate actionable insight
- The ability to answer the why - why people do the things they do
- Delivering findings in written qualitative and quantitative insight reports
- Client meetings and presentations
- Driving innovation in analysis methodologies
- Keeping on top of trends in data analysis and social media
- A huge variety of projects and sectors - no two days are the same
