**Location: Remote working (Will be required to travel to Wales site if successful to initially collect equipment)**

**The role**:
This role is work on the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) programme and this is a transformational programme that aims to modernise and further standardise pathology services to deliver benefits to patient care, safety and outcomes.

**As **Clinical Specialist Configuration Lead**your main responsibilities will be**:

- To work with the Programme team and discipline specific leads to ensure the design and configuration of the system is continually progressed and maintained, with improvements and recommendations taken forward
- Configure the new LIMS to the requirements and standards of All Wales Laboratories.
- Contribute to design activities within the programme.
- Carry out the clinical tasks identified in the relevant test strategy and plans and advise project managers of their progress.

**Experience required**:

- Knowledge of health service management, including change management.
- Evidence of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
- In depth understanding of the business processes for LIMS.
- High level of awareness & understanding of key Laboratory processes
