About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Domestic Violence Advocate Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of IDVA's, managing referrals, and being the link person between management and IDVA's.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of IDVA's and manage referrals
  • Be the link person between management and IDVA's
  • Work closely with users to manage their needs on a caseload basis
  • Liaise with other agencies to help people who are being referred to the service
  • Complete admin duties and go out into the community to meet with new referrals and case loads
  • Work with other charities
Requirements
  • Previous experience of working with victims of domestic abuse
  • Good knowledge of legislation and domestic abuse support strategies
  • Desirable criteria: experienced in leading a team within a domestic abuse service previously, along with an IDVA qualification
