About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and personable Domestic Violence Support Worker to join our team. As an IDVA Team Lead, you will be responsible for supporting our qualified staff in delivering care to our users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with other agencies to provide emotional support and guidance to individuals referred to our service.
  • Manage a caseload of users, working closely with them to meet their needs and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Lead a team of IDVA's, managing referrals and acting as a link person between management and IDVA's.
  • Complete administrative duties, attend meetings, and engage with other charities to support our users.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with victims of domestic abuse or suitable transferable skills.
  • Good knowledge of legislation and domestic abuse support strategies.
  • Desirable criteria: experience leading a team within a domestic abuse service and an IDVA qualification.
