Finance Officer/administrator

McMenon is looking for a finance officer to support our day-to-day transactions, including expenses and payroll.

**Responsibilities**
- Daily bank account management, including bank recs Maintenance of purchase and sales ledgers
- Credit control
- Monitor and manage department budgets
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts
- Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts and budgets Prepare for annual audits
- Prepare monthly payroll return for payroll bureau Manage capital expenditure and maintain records Any other financial duties as required
**Experience**
- Applicants must have experience of working in a finance role. Already have or are working toward accountancy accreditation Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures
- Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions) Familiarity with accounting software, especially SAGE
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors
