Spire Fylde Coast Hospital, Blackpool is currently looking for an experienced Administrator to join our Inpatient Bookings team.

**Working Hours**:_3 days a week through Monday - Friday between 9 am and 5 pm _

**Contract Type**:_Permanent, Part-time, 22.5 hrs _

As Inpatient Bookings Administrator you will be responsible for an effective administration pathway for all patients throughout their care.

**Duties and responsibilities**
- To maintain the patient administration and bookings system and to be responsible for the bookings of inpatients, day patients and operating theatre
- To be responsible for all correspondence relating to the patients admission and to ensure that proper documentation of patients is undertaken prior to admission
- To liaise with Theatre Manager and scheduler to provide maximum and efficient utilisation of theatre availability
- To check insurance details for patients before all appointments and prior to admission, by contacting the insurer or the patient
- To liaise with the clinical team in relation to all patients clinical care
