Aspect Housing Ltd is a small business in NON_PROFIT_ASSOCIATION in Birmingham. We are focused and dedicated to providing supported accommodation for the homeless. We provide accommodation to vulnerable adults Here at Aspect; we are committed to providing support to individuals and the local community.
This job description is indicative of the range of current duties and responsibilities for the post, it is not comprehensive. It is inevitable that the duties will change to reflect organisational change, and it is essential therefore that is regarded with a degree of flexibility so that changing needs and circumstances can be met. All changes will be discussed with the postholder.
**Qualifications/ Experience**:
- Previous experience working in finance is essential
- Experience/ Knowledge of benefits background
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Previous administration experience is essential
- Excellent organisational skills
- Self-motivated and proactive
**Duties**:
- Providing administration and finance support within the company.
- Administrative work related to housing benefits including making housing benefit calls, Checking housing benefit claims, and processing tenant paperwork.
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive records of benefit claims.
- Bank reconciliation
- Improving the financial controls within the company.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
**Salary**: From £10.50 per hour
