Receptionist / Sales Administrator - Huddersfield - Salary - 20-24k

Our client is a leading supplier of special purpose machinery for an array of industries on a global scale who are recruiting for a Document Controller. They have been established since the 1940’s and have made an extremely respectable name for themselves which has resulted in them securing several blue-chip clients along the way. Due to expansion within the business they have a requirement for a Receptionist / Sales Administrator to join their team in Huddersfield.

The Receptionist / Sales Administrator will provide an efficient and effective service for the company, supporting and assisting with all the company sales activities as well as manning the Receptionist area.

Duties and responsibilities of the Receptionist / Sales Administrator:

- Ensure the reception area is always kept organised and presentable.
- Record all external visitors’ movements on site and greet in an appropriate professional manner.
- Answer the Company main switchboard in a professional manner ensuring all incoming calls are allocated to relevant internal employees.
- Distribute incoming mail and process all outgoing mail.
- Maintain company refreshment facilities daily.
- Ensure all personnel wear protective footwear, clothes and safety glasses when entering the shop floor.
- Maintaining stationary supplies for the organization.
- Collating and distributing management movements for the week
- Booking travel as and when required for colleagues across the business

Competences required of the Receptionist / Sales Administrator:

- Previous experience of working within an office environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Effective time management skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
