Dental Receptionist

We are looking for a dental receptionist to work 3 days per week.

We are an NHS practice with 5 surgeries.

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and organized Dental Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our dental office, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth operations.

**Duties**:

- Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries
- Collect and record patient information, including medical history and personal details
- Maintain patient records in an accurate and confidential manner
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow
- Manage office supplies and maintain a clean reception area

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a similar administrative role
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Proficient in using dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and external contacts

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
