Here at Serco, we are seeking an Administrator to provide Payroll teams with general administrative support, working in the payroll team. You will support the payroll team with various administration tasks including report running, creating and sending letters, dealing with returned payslips, monitoring enquiry tickets to ensure they are assigned to the right person.
**As part of this you’ll**:
Running and Collating of reports to support ongoing data integrity, answering of enquiries and support of audit activity
scanning post and allocating to the right person
Creating and sending of letters to Third Parties or Employees
Dealing with returned payslips and updating addresses
Preparation of copy payslips and P60
Monitoring daily enquiry tickets to ensure they are assigned correctly
Supporting payroll project activities and preparation of Local Work Instructions
Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, checking reports, and possible inputting data
Support the team around Payroll processing dates.
**What you’ll need to do the role**:
Microsoft Office Skill, including Word, Excel
Good people skills, team worker, adaptable, quick to learn
Enjoys working within a busy team environment
Five GCSEs including Maths and English (or acceptable equivalent).
Good time management and organisational skills
Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
Able to prioritise and multitask effectively.
