Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity that is there for the whole family. Our specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free, expert advice, support and understanding to help families care for their loved one. Every day, Admiral Nurses help families up and down the country to have the best life possible for as long as possible.

About the role

Gift in Wills and In Memory fundraising generate over £4 million per year and are key income streams for Dementia UK, which in turn allows us to continue changing lives into the future.

Working within the Induvial Giving and Legacies team, the Legacy & In Memory Executive will be responsible for increasing the awareness of gifts in Wills to giving and new supporters, as well as maximising opportunities to receive in money donations. You will liaise with key suppliers, provide sensitive and timely stewardship and develop multi-channel marketing collateral. You will be accountable for delivering regular reporting/analysis of results and maintain accurate records in compliance with Dementia UK’s policies.

We are looking for someone with proven experience of working on fundraising/marketing projects and building relationships through supporter stewardship. You should have experience of digital marketing channels and relationship databases. You will need experience in analysing financial and non-financial KPI’s to inform future activity. Knowledge of Charity law, Data Protection, GDPR and Fundraising Code of Practice is desirable.
