Legacy Management Executive

Every childhood is worth fighting for. This is our belief. We all share it. It drives our Legacy Management team to get out there and bring in the funds we need to protect children and prevent abuse. Join us as a Legacy Management Executive and help us fund change that means everything.
- Around 90% of our funding
- **c**omes from our supporters, helping us reach children across the UK. Over £20m of the donations received each year come in the form of gifts in wills (legacies).The Legacy Management team handle these gifts and are looking for someone with:
- An eye for detail
- Good organisational skills
- The ability to communicate clearly and sensitively
Full training will be given, and you will be supported by a team with a wealth of experience in raising funds from and managing legacies.
You will progress to manage your own caseload of cash legacies in a thoughtful and efficient way as well as see a wide range of cases and be involved in team discussions to develop your knowledge and gain more experience of probate and legacy giving. Your role will also be to provide administrative support to the Legacy Management team. This is a great opportunity to build a career in a key area of fundraising.
You will liaise with solicitors and lay executors appropriately to protect the NSPCC's reputation and be able to build good relationships with a range of colleagues and stakeholders across the sector and within the organisation. You will play a key role in helping ensure the charity's long-term legacy income is sustained to help keep even more children safe.
