**MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE**
- To comply with all Company policies and procedures, for example, delegation of authority, health and safety policy, etc.
- Provide accurate cost estimations for all work activities both internal and external to be carried out by the company’s production area, namely Fabrication and Machine Shop
- Production planning/scheduling of all work activities for Fabrication and Machine shop
- Work closely with the Design and Engineering department, Manufacturing department and Workshop (plus representatives thereof) to implement and manage resource plans for the production area.
- Liaise directly with external customers, offering manufacturing solutions to meet or exceed the customer’s needs when required.
- Creating parts, BOM’s & Routings
- Assist in purchasing activities to support production

**Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities**
- To be responsible for developing costings, and routings, for all components to be manufactured by the company’s production area.
- Working with the manufacturing team to optimise manufacturing methods in order to improve quality and efficiency, creating and maintaining comprehensive work instructions.
- Liaise with the Engineering department as required to establish correct technical specifications or to instigate engineering work to fulfil customer requirements.
- Writing, and releasing, all quotations relating to the company’s production area,
- The establishment, maintenance & tracking of the resource plans for the company’s production area.
- Supporting the development of the operational budget for the production area in line with the strategic requirements of the business and the Technical Group.
- Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time
- Compliance with all departmental H&S requirements
- Compliance, where appropriate with management, & environmental, systems, such as ISO 9001 & ISO 14001

**Qualifications and Experience**
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Competent user of IT
- Good attention to detail and a practical approach to problem solving.
- Experience in Production Planning or Project Management.
- Experience of working with a manufacturing environment an advantage

**Summary Terms & Conditions**
- L**eave entitlement - **25 days per year plus statutory holidays (compulsory shutdown of three days at Christmas).
- **Notice period - **There will be an initial three-month probationary period, during which notice will be one week on either side. On successful completion of the probationary period notice will be one month.
- **Working hours - **08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £32,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
