Merchant Support Executive

Develop new, and maintain existing, long term business relationships with existing base of merchant customers.
- Ensure that all merchant branches have maximum sales support material in place with up-to-date literature, samples, and all point of sale.
- Be able to deliver basic product training to meet customer requirements.
- Have a structured and planned journey plan that runs alongside a structured contact plan.
- Develop and maintain the Existing Customer Lists within (PSA) Project Sales Achiever
- Daily use of PSA to maintain all customer records.
- Daily completion of Journals (To record face to face activity) with PSA.
- Engage with all members of the Regional Sales Team (ASM’s, BDM’s and Specification Managers) to pass on relevant customer info that creates sales opportunities.
- Ensure that all merchant branches have maximum sales support material in place with up-to-date literature, samples, and all point of sale.
- Activity Levels and Call rates - complete a minimum of 8 calls per day.
- To be at first face to face appointment before 09:15am.
- Tasks may require flexible working hours to meet deadlines.
- Provide Regional Sales Director with all required reports as set by the UK Sales and Marketing Director in a timely manner and as instructed.
- Provide Regional Sales Director market information with regards to competitor activity and new product development
- Attend all (Where appropriate) UK & Regional Sales Meetings
- To maximise the sales of all the full range of products, by value, volume, and margin.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: Up to £32,000.00 per year
