**Sensory Research Executive**

Our client, a reputable sensory and consumer research consultancy with a global client based, are seeking a driven and talented research executive to join their sensory team in Nottingham. This role is ideal for someone who already has some commercial experience of running sensory panels, looking for their second role in sensory research.

This leading sensory and consumer research organisation have a growing portfolio including some of the world’s most famous retailers and this company offers a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic company at a pivotal stage in their growth.

You will be rewarded with diverse range of projects (working on with both food and non food) in which you can grow and develop your skills, a great renumeration package, a health cash plan and other company benefits. There will also be the opportunity to support on consumer research programs longer term.

**Responsibilities**:

- To set up, run and analyse routine sensory and consumer tests
- Supervise casual staff during testing and to assist with their induction and training programme.
- Prepare and serve samples for testing according to validated cook plans, sample preparation plans and/or sample serving guidelines and study protocol.
- Data collection, data analysis, data presentation, writing and presenting reports.
- Support colleagues with all aspects of complex or multi projects, ensuring that all documented procedures relevant to project management are adhered to.

**About You**:

- Relevant degree (Food Science or equivalent)
- Experience in Sensory Panel Management - descriptive and/or discrimination panels
- Broad knowledge of test methodologies in order to recommend the correct test and run appropriate sensory analysis
- Good data analysis skills and use of excel
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to communicate effectively
