We are working with a highly-regarded global law firm in their search for an HR & Payroll Advisor for their London office. This is a fantastic opportunity to build on your existing HR experience and offers scope for further development.

**As HR & Payroll Advisor, you’ll be**
- Acting as a business partner to the London office providing HR generalist support.
- Managing employee relations issues within office when they arise, with support where required.
- Managing the annual business services appraisal process.
- Conducting new joiner and exit interviews across the office.
- Managing the maternity and paternity process for the London office.
- Supporting the absence management process.
- Managing the lateral recruitment process for support teams including secretarial and paralegal teams.
- Supporting with the ongoing implementation of Workday.
- Supporting the HR team with updating policies and procedures.
- Collating the monthly cycle Payroll changes and updates.
- Working with payroll provider to ensure monthly payroll deadlines are met.
- Uploading and calculating the monthly Pension cycle.
- Reconciling the monthly PMI statement and accounts.
- Key point of contact for London employees on all payroll and benefit questions.
- Improving and streamlining current internal processes.
- Reviewing payroll and benefit processes with a view to providing suggestions for continuous improvements.

You will already have a good working knowledge of HR practices, ideally gained within a legal or professional services environment. Previous experience of payroll/benefits is highly desirable. You will need excellent time management and organisational skills, and understand the importance of confidentiality and have the relevant skills to handle sensitive data. You are able to demonstrate a flexible and hands-on attitude, responding effectively to rapidly changing circumstances, take the initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent, sound judgement.
