**Junior PX Business Partner**

**About the role***:
We are looking for a Junior People Experience Business Partner to join our Wavemaker Agency. You will work closely with the Head of People Experience to deliver commercially focused people solutions to the agency. You will participate in agency wide programs and initiatives (e.g. organisational development and change, talent management and learning). You will play a key role in administering talent management and succession planning activity within the agency.

You should be a qualified HR professional who is either currently a Junior Business Partner or is looking for their next step in HR. This role will entail managing an allocated stakeholder group and supporting on the strategic direction of the people team designing and developing programmes across career development, learning and people management.

You will be an expert in people related policies and procedures knowing when to flex your approach and when to seek further guidance. Wavemaker is part of a matrix organisation, making contacts and partnering within the matrix will be key to your success in the role.

**In this role, you will**:

- Act as a consultative Business Partner, providing expert advice and guidance to stakeholders on people matters.
- Assist with the execution of all programmes developed by the PX team on our Agency Be our best pillar.
- Coaching managers in dealing with complex ER casework, TUPE, performance, disciplinary matters.
- Delivering key PX initiatives across restructuring, resourcing, talent management, compensation and employee engagement.
- Analysing and reporting on people information to support with decision making and enhancements.
- Assists line managers with the alignment of their people plans to the overall agency strategy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for managers across the agency.
- Support the on-going engagement of employees in the agency.
- Use data for analysis and identifying trends to understand performance and productivity challenges.
- Support the execution of WPP and GroupM people programmes.
- Support on relevant admin tasks as required.
- Work with the Talent Development Partner to scope and redefine an effective learning and development programme based on feedback from stakeholders.
- Support with the delivery and roll-out of talent development initiatives, including management development, onboarding and DE&I.
- Keep track of talent trends to understand the emerging needs of the business and provide and implement recommendation.

- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) coupled with good challenging skills
- Assertive in approach coupled with confidence and the ability to facilitate business conversations
- Good project management
- Good conceptual insight and the ability to think strategically
- Good understanding of data, when and how to use manually and within excel.
- Ability to manage processes through collaboration and the understanding of the agency
- Able to work well in matrix teams
