Day Care Service

A Support Worker is required to work within our day care centre based in Willerby and our ISL in Market Weighton

You will be expected to work with individuals whom have a learning disability and complex needs, supporting individuals within their home, in our day provision and in the community for outreach support.

Experience in working with Young People / Adults who have learning disabilities and complex needs is essential.

Full training will be provided as part of the induction process.

The position will also require occasional cover for our ISL provision when required (e.g. holidays, sickness).

DBS checks are to be carried out on all applicants (unless the current DBS is in place and is on the updated system). References are required once successful for the role.

Activities that you will be required to support the individuals with:

- Social activities and outings
- Learning skills for independence
- Personalised care and support within the home
- Chill out time
- Exploring the world around us
- Behavioural support
- Shopping
