**Receptionist / Administrator**

Mon 8am - 6.30pm
Tues 2pm to 8pm
Thurs 2pm to 7.30pm
We are looking for an experienced receptionist/administrator to join our small and friendly team. Previous experience within a busy GP Practice is preferred, along with good working knowledge of the SystmOne clinical system (although ongoing training will be provided)
We have a growing list size of currently around 8500 patients and our dedicated staff have built an excellent reputation in meeting patient’s needs.
The role is varied and includes:
- Booking appointments
- Answering calls
- Taking messages
- Printing prescriptions
- Scanning / opening post
- Dealing with general queries
- Registering new patients
- Filing
- Admin duties as required
- Opening & Closing premises in line with shift pattern
You will be expected to cover additional hours re staff holidays and sickness - sometimes at short notice, which may include a later finish.
Attendance at staff meetings / training is expected and may at times be in addition to your contracted hours.
NHS and SystmOne experience preferred. In-house training will be provided.
5.6 weeks leave pro-rata inclusive of bank holidays and free onsite parking
£10.73 per hour

Please note, we reserve the right to close the vacancy earlier than the advertised closing date if we have a sufficient number of applicants. **This is a permanent role and not suitable for gap students or alongside uni / college studies.**
**Training**:
**Please be aware that training dates / times may differ from the post hours to ensure the management team can offer relevant training within the induction period. Training may take place Monday to Friday between 8am and 8pm dependant on trainer availability.**
