Customer Service Manager

Full time permanent role - office based role with flexible working to work from home on occasions

Mon-Fri 40 hours per week - standard office hours

Burgess Hill area. My client are based in a beautiful but rural location. It is essential to be a driver and have your own vehicle for this role. Plenty of free parking available on site.

Salary £35000-£37000 per year plus good company benefits

We are delighted to be working alongside our client as they seek to recruit a Customer Service Manager (due to ongoing company growth). This is an excellent opportunity to join a business who are fully established, very successful and who have a first classreputation in their industry sector

**The role**:
To provide a first-class post-sales experience to ensure maximum customer satisfaction and retention. Managing, developing and supervising a small team of five. Team size is expected to grow. This is not a Call Centre or scripted environment.

**Previous experience and competencies required**:
Implemented continuous improvement initiatives, ability to engage the team in changes

Utilised an ERP system to understand and manage operational performance (efficiency & effectiveness)

Managed business and departmental processes

Managed a department with KPIs and planned resources to ensure consistent delivery KPI's

Managed third-party contract providers to meet service level agreements that align with business needs

Set and accurately report on KPI's and targets - actuals vs targets

Strong experience of managing a Customer Service Department, including proactive and reactive customer service tasks

Utilised multiple methods to obtain customer feedback

Comprehensive understanding of service strategies and technologies

Excel (basic formulas, formatting)

Technology savvy

Process driven

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Analytical, able to problem solve and find sustainable solutions

Good time management skills
