We are looking for an Account Management Executive to join our team in the defence sector at Wincanton. You will support the Account Manager in the development and execution of the overall sector strategy.

**Day to Day**

Provide general support to the key Account Manager across key accounts and deputise where required

Support and sometimes lead appropriate business cadence to include regular, formal reviews and reports.

Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, client stakeholders and executive sponsors.

Develop ‘internal’ network across Sectors and central functions

Ensure the timely and successful delivery of compelling value propositions and solutions according to customer needs and objectives.

Support with the negotiation of contract terms through to final sign off.

Support the creation of Board approval papers for the Head of Account Liaison with key members of the People Team for technical advice and people solution design.

Working with the bid support and sales team to ensure bids, tenders and renewals are maximised, on time and compliant.

**What will you bring?**

Proven work experience as Account Manager or relevant role

Experience delivering client focussed solutions to customer needs

Proven ability to work multiple account management projects at all times whilst maintaining sharp attention to detail

Logistics / market industry experience

Good commercial awareness and a commitment to providing customers with the highest standards of service

Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the client’s organisation including executives and c-level

Innovative views

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities
