**Salary**:£33,000

**Hours**:4 on 6am-6pm / 4 off / 4 on 6pm-6am / 4 off

**Key responsibilities within your new role would be to**:

- Be responsible for a team of five including training, motivating, performance monitoring and upskilling.
- Communicate company goals, safety practices, company procedures and deadlines to ensure collaborative working within production.
- Support the management team with hiring, team performance and the monitoring of sickness and attendance.
- Support the Production Supervisor and supply relevant information when required.
- Be the first point of contact for team member questions, aids with team member questions and trouble shooting.
- Oversee team members work for quality and guideline compliance.
- Have an understanding within a factory environment, and ideally compounding.
- Develop strategies to promote team member adherence to company regulations and performance goals.
- Conducts team meetings to update members on best practices and expectations.
- Generate and share comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, mission related objectives, and deadlines.
- Ensure company brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards.
- Cover other Team Leaders when required.

**Experience and skills required for this position**:

- Previous experience of team leadership
- Effective Communication Skills
- The ability to motivate a team
- Results-Orientated
- Experience of training staff
- Interviewing Skills
- Self-Motivation
- Be able to build relationships with staff and other departments
- Knowledge of 5s
- Valid Forklift licence preferred, not essential
- Working knowledge of Excel
