**Job Introduction**:
At Turning Point, we support people across the UK with substance use, learning disabilities and mental health problems.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Regional Head of Operations to join our team.

As a Regional Head of Operations, you’ll make a real difference to their lives as you strategically lead and manage a substance use portfolio across the North of England. These services include community integrated drug and alcohol services, residential detoxification and rehabilitation services and criminal justice interventions.

It is a home-based role covering the North of England with travel to the services when required.

**Role Responsibility**:
You will strategically lead and manage Turning Point’s portfolio in substance use within the given geographical region. Your main responsibilities will include:

- effectively leading operations to deliver high quality service user focused services that place Turning Point as a market leader within Public Health & Substance Use and deliver Turning Point’s ambitions to retain and grow new services
- ensuring continuous development of services in the region, deploying innovative ideas and implementing new national guidance, interventions, and policy
- holding overall operational responsibility for the region’s achievement of financial and performance targets
- working with the business development team in identifying key areas of growth for substance use and public health across the region, building strong relationships with external bodies and commissioners to positively convey Turning Points service offering/products enhancing the ability to win new business
- developing and maintaining effective relationships with key influencers and stakeholders in the region and nationally
- ensuring that Turning Point has a positive profile regionally and nationally through marketing and communication processes, including press and strategic representation
- covering a wide geographical region, leading a team and maintain contact with frontline staff and service users accessing support and treatment
- managing a portfolio of services with combined annual revenue of between £20m - £30m per annum

We’re looking for a strong leader with the CQC and quality assurance experience, combined with the gravitas to stand in front of the commissioner and clearly explain your operational ideas.

As a Senior Manager, we’ll also look to you to co-ordinate operations and service planning, meet financial targets, and ultimately, ensure that our services are high performing and well positioned for retender and growth.
