**Regional Official - **The Role:
The Bargaining, Organising, Representation & Operations department at UCU is seeking a Regional Official to lead our Northwest team. In this exciting role, based (normally) in our office in Manchester, and reporting to the Head of Bargaining, Organising,Representation & Operations, your main duties will include:

- Ensuring the effective implementation of national and regional strategic planning
- Securing and maintaining recognition of UCU in FE and HE in the region
- Responsibility for overseeing effective implementation of national agreements at branch level
- Organising and delivering regional and local campaigning activities
- Managing a small team
