**Location**: London

An exciting and rare opportunity to work within the UK Music Industry, we are looking for an experienced Board Co-ordinator to join us to manage the ongoing administration associated with our board cycle across the MPA Group of Companies.

**About the Role**

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Board Co-ordinator will play an integral role in the day-to-day operation and administration of the MPA group of Companies, attending all board and committee meetings as minute-taker, and managing actions and outputs. Whilst previous experience within the Music Industry would be valued, we are keen to attract applicants from any sector and background.

**Main responsibilities include**
- Act in the capacity of Corporate Secretary to the various boards and committees
- Plan the annual calendar of work
- Drafting meeting agendas, preparing board packs, and supporting with meeting arrangements as needed
- Attending a high number of board and committee meetings throughout the year in the capacity of minute taker
- Drafting professional, accurate and timely minutes to circulate, along with post-meeting actions, to the relevant stakeholders
- Following up on actions as required
- Assisting the Chief Operating Officer in the implementation of policies, procedures and processes related to Governance, risk management and compliance
- Ensuring efficient management of the office by overseeing health and safety measures and managing equipment
- Providing general administrative support to MPA employees as needed

**Must have experience**
- At least 2 years of experience in Corporate Secretarial work with sound working knowledge of all corporate secretarial matters
- Have extensive knowledge and experience in managing all areas of board / committees meetings
- Possess a clear and concise writing ability, demonstrating a meticulous attention to detail
- Highly proficient in the use of MS Office suite with the ability to produce reports and presentations to a high standard
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- To be able to liaise and influence at all levels - within the team, with Board Directors and external contacts ranging from service providers to politicians and Heads of Business
- Proven track record of working effectively to deadlines and able to remain calm under pressure
- Must maintain confidentiality at all times

**Desirable**
- Knowledge or experience of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, particularly in Company Law and corporate governance best practice
- Qualified or studying for a qualification with The Chartered Governance Institute in UK
