Here at Providor, we are a leading provider of Smart Metering services across the UK and are currently have an opening for an Planner position on a full time basis.

**The Role**:

- Reporting into the Planning & Scheduling Senior, the Planner’s role is to ensure the engineers have the most effective routes planned by geographical area. The role will encompass many administrative tasks for the company operations whilst working within a driven office environment.

**Specific Roles and Responsibilities**:

- To ensure all jobs are assigned to the relevant engineer within the designated neighbourhood/client area.
- To ensure the engineer schedules are efficient and achievable.
- To ensure the drive time is kept to a minimum.
- To work with our call centre and field operation to ensure enough jobs are being planning to the expected capacity.
- To ensure engineers have the right number of appointments spread evenly throughout the day.
- To investigate any previously visited jobs and ensure any issues have been resolved. If unresolved the job should be cancelled and pass back to the client.
- To replan jobs when necessary, keeping the customers updated of the changes.
- To communicate the schedules to the engineer’s managers for review.
- To ensure equipment, meters and assists are in place to allow the job to go ahead for certain job types.
- To ensure processes are always followed to ensure the efficiency of the operation.
- To adapt to and complete any additional ad-hoc requests as instructed by you Line Manager

**The Individual**:

- Good geographical knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- A good telephone manner
- The ability to record information with a high degree of accuracy
- Be self-disciplined and self-motivating
- Office experience
- Good standard of Education - GCSE level

**Salary £25,365**

**Plus, a discretionary bonus of up to £1,440.00 per annum on successful achievement of monthly KPI’s
