Transport Planner

We are currently recruiting for a well-established company who are looking for a Transport Planner on a full-time permanent basis, who are located on the outskirts of Newmarket.

**Typical duties would include**:

- Planning Multiple driver resources
- Maximising the fleet, by ensuring efficient and professional deliveries to agreed timescales in working regulations
- Main point of contact for Drivers
- Oversight of all deliveries dealing with driver queries efficiently
- Provide estimated times of arrival, deal with sorting collections, and updating the system with new client/delivery addresses
- Management of adjustments/cancellations of orders where appropriate
- Previous experience in a Multi-Drop management role
- Strong ability to communicate between all levels and teams
- Have a good geographical understanding of the UK and it’s roads
- Able to work from own initiative
- Able to quickly adapt under pressure
- Strong IT skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £26,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
