Overview:
Are you looking for an opportunity to further develop your career in HR? Rydon’s HR team is looking for a part time HR Administrator to join us on a 12 month FTC to cover a period of maternity.
**This can be working on a hybrid or fully remote basis.**
As HR Administrator you will be a key point of contact for colleagues across the business. Our HR team supports numerous office locations for our three operating companies and if you are coming into the office then our head office is based in Forest Row (East Sussex).
The Rydon group operates throughout England, predominantly in London and the southern counties. Job Purpose:
As HR Administrator you will provide first line advice, guidance and administrative support on Human Resources matters to managers and employees across the Group.
This is a varied role which will involve preparing and issuing contracts, managing the administration of pre-employment checks; employment referencing, DBS and health questionnaires and any employee-related changes including variations to contracts
You will also set up new starters and upload HR documents onto our HR system (Cascade). In addition to processing new starters, you will also be responsible for processing amendments to contracts and leavers.
You will work closely with the HR Coordinator and also have the opportunity to participate in projects to support Rydon’s HR Strategy for the future
**Other key responsibilities include;**
- Work with the Managers to provide reports of key dates, including probation end dates, fixed-term contract end dates, and dates regarding maternity leave etc.
- Employee recognition and service award reporting
- Producing letters confirming employment changes and prepare company-wide mail outs relating to pay review and benefit
