A new opportunity has arisen for a Farms Manager to oversee the operations of a substantial broiler chicken operation based on a number of farms in the Midlands. In this central role the Farms Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and supportto ensure that effective and efficient operation of the units and hold the responsibility for the overall performance of the farms.
In this hands-on role further responsibilities will include:
- Working with the farms team to ensure to the highest standards of bird welfare, compliance and performance
- Overseeing and controlling the financial performance and implementing cost efficiencies
- Effectively communicating and coordinating the retailers’ requirements
- Analysing, monitoring and recording performance
- Assisting in technical queries and problem solving
- Meeting all the regulatory compliance standards
- Driving change and implementing improvements where necessary
The position offers a competitive salary, farms vehicle and a generous bonus based on results
