Work Schedule
39 hours per week, spread over 5 days.
7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday to Thursday

As a Poultry Production Operative, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the well-being of the poultry flock. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to further your career within our agricultural operations.
Key Duties Include:
• Conducting tasks within poultry housing, including walking through the sheds, laying bedding, and handling birds.
• Collecting, inspecting, and organizing eggs into trays, along with completing necessary documentation.
• Ensuring the welfare of the birds, including feeding and care.
• Performing general farm responsibilities, such as maintaining grounds and operating equipment.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
• You should be self-motivated, adaptable, and possess a strong work ethic.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
• Previous training in manual handling is essential.
• Experience in an agricultural setting or a similar role is preferred.
• A Poultry welfare certificate or NVQ Level 2 in livestock production is advantageous, though comprehensive training will be provided.
