**Flexible Location**

**Area Sales Manager - Solution Sales**

**Our Client**
- A well-established, rapidly growing and market leading provider of road safety solutions including driver training, risk management and compliance products, looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to create further growth and target new business.

**The Role**
- Great opportunity to manage an established, profitable and highly successful sales area but with strong scope for further growth.
- Selling a full range of services and solutions, providing advice and recommendations on solutions to meet the needs of prestigious clients.
- A technical solution focused role, working closely with blue-chip organisations with large vehicle fleets.
- Account Management - developing existing accounts through effective relationship management as well as effective up-selling/cross selling etc.
- Business Development - identifying and converting prospects within a defined area.
- Contributing to the strategic development of the overall business as a key member of the sales team.
- Creating and servicing sales enquiries in a new business development situation.
- Reporting on sales activities and provide relevant information to sales management.
- You will spend the majority of your time face to face with your customers, so strong planning and organisational skills are essential.
- Your prime focus will be to actively win, retain and grow the business knowing you be able to count on professional back up and support from your team and colleagues at all times.
- To succeed as my Client's new Area Sales Manager, you will require well-honed solution sales skills and a strong determination to succeed, but will also have a sound technical grounding.
- You will have experience selling services such as training, development, learning, risk management, decision automation, digital transformation or cloud solutions.
- Your communication style is open, friendly, conscientious and committed; above all you will be a team player.
- You're ambitious, committed, confident, enthusiastic, resilient and goal-oriented field sales executive with strong account management skills and excellent business development experience.
- Highly professional with an ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
- Naturally persuasive, creative and self-motivated, able to recognise opportunities and use your own initiative to convert these into sales.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, together with strong planning and organisational skills.
- A strong negotiator, with at lease 1 - 2 year's solutions sales experience within a technical sales environment.
- Self-confident and able to demonstrate excellent face-to-face communication skills.
- A commercial approach with a clear focus on standards and quality.
