Our client is an exciting and growing company seeking a Customer Support and Logistics Manager to manage a team of 3 and join their team in Milton Park, Didcot, Oxfordshire. This is a full time, permanent position, responsible for the administration of salesorders, for facilitating the delivery logistics from Japan, Belgium or UK and liaising with the sales managers to provide relevant customer support.

The client operates a hybrid working system with three days in the office but during the initial training period, additional work in the office may be required.

**Main responsibilities**

Data input tasks
- Input ting s ales and purchase o rders.
- Maintaining customer, vendor, price, charges and other relevant data on the database.
- Allocating correct stock to orders and managing lot (batch) numbers.
- Assist ing with consignment stock held at customer premises and maintain ing records.
- U pload ing information and documents to customer purchasing systems.
- Download ing and filing all backup documentation for the transaction in the system and ensuring there is complete set of records for every business transaction.
- Input ting invoices from the logistics and warehouse companies.

L ogistic s coordination tasks
- Preparing a picking list and confirming delivery charges.
- Sending shipping documents to customers in a timely manner.
- Obtaining information for EU sales declarations from customers.
- Continually communicating with logistic suppliers to expedite all deliveries
- Obtain and provide POD as required.
- Manage the sample stoc k / Prepare and dispatch samples.Admin istration task s
- Respond ing to phone calls made to the company in a polite and helpful manner and re-direct ing to other staff, if appropriate.
- Filing documents and ensuring everything is kept in order.
- Maintaining mailing list s.
- Assist ing in the preparation for company meetings and events where required.

**Personal and technical requirements**:

- The role requires a person with attention to detail, accuracy in completing tasks ;
- Excellent people and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook systems;
- Flexibility and enthusiasm.
- Some experience with ERP systems and knowledge of logistics essential ;
- European language skills / Japanese language skills desirable.
